lovely stay near the centre

The large room had a comfortable bed (i slept so well!). staff were friendly. i liked the pub restaurant. The menu was good and the food, home-cooked. breakfast in the conservatory was charming, especially the setting.

the sash window didn't open fully, made the room a bit stuffy at times. it wasn't a big deal, but noticeable.

the hotel's location is quite convenient, just a short walk to the city centre. there is free parking available, a definite plus. the walk through the park to the city centre is particularly pleasant.
